An Event With A Purpose

The focus of this year’s event was the power of yoga to heal people of all ages. It was bigger and better with free giveaways and promotional booths which showcased some of your favorite yoga related gear. It all happened beside a beautiful view of White Rock Lake. We were amazed and truly inspired by the yoga participants who have chosen to share their personal practice on stage at this year’s 6th Annual Texas Yoga Asana Championship.

This was the first year there was a Youth Division in Texas. Imagine how different the world would be if, beginning as a child in school, each person made the practice of yoga a part of their everyday life. We had a silent auction to benefit the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) and the Ghosh’s College of India. Both organizations are committed to children’s safety and health.
